Emmanuel Macron refuses Interior Minister's offer to resign after another night of widespread rioting
Emmanuel Macron has declined his Interior Minister's offer to resign after widespread rioting continued across France.
President Macron said Laurent Nunez should stay on, given the need to maintain a chain of command within the police and security forces.
The French President also asked Mr Nunez to set up new approaches as quickly as possible to deal with looters, the Elysee said.
