Thousands of campaigners have walked the proposed route of a 125-mile pipeline to highlight concerns over a giant Net Zero carbon capture scheme.
The Peak Cluster project will use an underground pipe to funnel CO2 emissions from cement producers in the Peak District out through the Wirral and to storage beneath the seabed.
