Princess of Wales to attend Wimbledon Ladies' Singles final solo
The Princess of Wales is set to grace Centre Court this afternoon for the ladies' singles final at Wimbledon solo, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
Catherine, who serves as patron of the All England Club, will watch Czech competitors Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova battle for the coveted championship title.
The 44-year-old princess will hand over the trophy to the victor on day 13 of the tournament.
Last year, she delivered the coveted piece of silverware to Iga Swiatek after she beat Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 for her first Wimbledon title.

She will be joined by All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton, who will assist with the presentation ceremony.
Club chairwoman Deborah Jevans and Lawn Tennis Association president Roy Colabawalla will also accompany the princess throughout proceedings.
This marks the princess's second appearance at the championships this fortnight, having attended during the opening week.
Catherine was spotted watching British sensation Arthur Fery compete in his second-round encounter against Otto Virtanen, seated alongside Ms Jevans and former British number one Tim Henman.
The 23-year-old's dream run came to an end in the semi-finals yesterday against Alexander Zverev, who himself entered Wimbledon off the back of his first Grand Slam success in the French Open.
Fery's remarkable story captured the nation's imagination, with the British wildcard becoming the first to reach the gentlemen's singles semi-finals in the Open Era.
The Queen cheered him on during his quarter-final triumph on Wednesday, while Catherine offered her congratulations via social media.
