Labour minister bans controversial Orange Order parade after nationalist pressure
Northern Ireland Secretary Sir Chris Bryant has announced the controversial Drumcree parade will be banned after two weeks of nationalist pressure.
Sir Chris told reporters he could not find an accommodation between the Orange Order and nationalist residents of the Garvaghy Road in Portadown.
He had been under growing pressure to act after a standoff between the two sides that has lasted almost two weeks.
