'Menace' driver with 59 penalty points on his licence banned from roads - but avoids jail
A 45-year-old motorist who had accumulated 59 penalty points on his driving licence has admitted to seven separate offences at Lincoln Magistrates Court. Iain Ashmore, of Fuchsia Way, entered guilty pleas last month to three charges of getting behind the wheel while already banned from driving, three counts of operating a vehicle without valid insurance, and a single offence of using a mobile phone at the wheel.
